We are pleased to inform you SO/ Auckland is a 100% non-smoking property. This includes all rooms and balconies as well as public areas. A designated smoking area is located outside the hotel.

Our So Club Rooms as well as our SO Suites do offer balconies as well as access to our Club Signature which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks & canapes.

In the So Suit, is the bedroom able to be closed off from the living room area? Eg. For baby to sleep. Would the NY fireworks be visible from window?

Yes, our SO Suites all offer a separate lounge from the bedroom. Unfortunately none of our rooms and suites offer views to the SkyTower fireworks

Good Afternoon, Our SO/ Club is a Single Room without stairs, however, comes with a Juliet balcony.

All our rooms come with a deep soaking bath and a separate rain shower.

Was this hotel used as a Covid isolation hotel?

SO/ Auckland was facilitating MIQ stays for returning Kiwis. The hotel has since undergone a rigorous deep cleaning in line with our high ALL Safe standards. The hotel has been open for public business again since May 2022.

Hi, am I able to check in early?

Our guaranteed check-in time is 3pm and departure time 12pm. The team will do all possible to have your room ready for an early arrival, however this cannot be guaranteed during periods of high demand.

The room was quite dark & really only had a bed with shower & toilet. We couldn’t Crome Netflix etc. I tried to ring the reception but no one answered which meant I had to go down to reception.
